JPMDL Order Denying Transfer: The Judicial Panel on Multi-District Litigation decided NOT to transfer Dunakin v. Supply Chain Solutions to Florida and likewise, not to transfer the Florida case to Oregon. This means that the two cases will proceed separately in their own courts.
Magistrate’s Recommendation to Limit Carrera case to Florida drivers: The Magistrate judge in the Florida case conditionally agreed to provide notice of the case to a class of ONLY Florida drivers (about 120 people at most) rather than drivers in all 50 states. Both sides have appealed that decision to the judge. We have asked the parties to respect the decision of the Florida drivers who have joined in Dunakin, by refraining from contacting those of you who have already chosen to participate in Dunakin. Hopefully, this will avoid confusion and ensure that drivers are participating in only one case. We will continue to update you as the case progresses.
